Become an Olotu Square Fellow

The fellowship program is a training event organized by Olotu Square and our partners to educate community members in certain areas of computer programming, design and digital marketing, giving them a chance to practice what they’ve learned until they become skilled.
Most people dive into the ambiguous or rather complex world of computer programming without proper guidance only to get stuck in the middle of it. They follow certain signs that say “learn ‘This and that in one week’ ” and sometimes they pay a huge amount of money but get low quality training or in some case quality training but left to find a way with the knowledge.
Solution: In Olotu Square we hold high personal development as our number one priority, so we don’t just train people but we also provide them with tools and all the mentorship on career choice they might need. At the end of the program, the participants automatically become a part of the community where they can benefit from anyone within, so the learning never stops.
Cost: The program is entirely free for the participants. However, in the background, sponsorship is needed to cover the cost of running the program.

Pitch Day & Free Consultancy

Pitch Day

A pitch day is simply a roster of days we appoint different members of the community to pitch on their skills or award to any startup looking to get feedback on their startup ideas, product, brand design, A/B Test concept, approach to market, pricing, and more. Members of the square and the public are invited to hear the startup pitch after which all necessary feedbacks or support needed is offered. This is also a recruitment pipeline for our Incubation programme.

Consultancy

In a vain to continuously encourage newbies in startup & tech, we deliberately have sessions where we provide free consultancy services to these techies or to founders looking to start, grow, access funds, seek mentorship, or be featured on our regular radio show.
